We use vegetable-tanned full-grain leather. It’s chosen for its natural character and the way it develops a rich patina over time.
Yes. Each journal is cut, stitched, and finished by hand in small batches, one detail at a time.
They’re built for years of daily use. The leather grows stronger with handling, and the lay-flat binding is made to open and close thousands of times.
The Heritage and Field journals are A5 (5.8″ × 8.3″). The Pocket Journal is 3.5″ × 5.5″, made to slip into a pocket or bag.
We use 100gsm acid-free paper that’s smooth, fountain-pen friendly, and resists bleed-through.
